and I was wondering what are the specific crimes where? Not supporting any side or anything with this post, just wondering and not having any luck with google.
Mark Foley was not and is not a pedophile. This issue has stirred up a lot of controversy in the LGBT community. The young page who sent e-mail messages to Representatve Foley was being paid by HRC (Human Rights Campaign), an LGBT advocacy group and lobby.
Representative Foley was set up. The controversy here in the LGBT community is, it was a boneheaded stunt. Representative Foley never met the young man or any underage men for sex. His trial by media helped the homophobes label us as pedophiles, so the whole thing backfired on the LGBT community. It is stupid for the LGBT community to continue to support the Democrats who use us and then screw us over.
