How do you build a great partner program for people using your company as a second job?
There’s lots of social networking vehicles out there but I have found none for building a partner community except for forums.
We’re building a partner community that will include stay at home moms, retirees, and other people who want a second income. It is not a franchise or multi-level marketing program. I have the following mindmap that gives you the expanse of my thoughts without any details.
I’m looking for great models for folks who might not have any significant degree of sophistication in working in a such a community. The starting graphic is here. If you’ve seen any partner programs that work for people who might be new to partnering or new to starting their own business (that is not an MLM or franchise), please let me know.

Stop trying to “pitch” your product here.
Use standard old-fashion marketing and advertising off line.
Develop some SEO practices for your web site.
And have a place for people to sign up to receive your monthly newsletters. Send them to anyone and everyone with whom you have done any business in the past.
Ask them to forward your newsletters on to their friends. Someone who has already bought your program will know others who should buy it too.
