If you’re like I was when I got involved in the MLM profession, you may be searching for a way to make your MLM sales funnel produce more income, and faster.
A quick background on myself, when I got involved in the industry of Network Marketing, success came to me only after 5 years of constant frustration and struggle. Although I achieved minimal success through traditional methods, it frustrated me beyond belief. I did hotel briefings, home parties, and met with people in coffee shops – all to no avail. It appeared as though I just couldn’t create MLM sales in large enough amounts to really prosper in this industry.
Here are the breakthrough ideas that catapulted my MLM sales success to the moon:
1. The number one principle you need to understand for unlimited MLM sales is to forget the concept that a duplicateable system is the key to success. Don’t get me wrong – real duplication is essential to growth – however I’ve seen many creative distributors who have had extreme lack of growth because they refused to use their creativity in their MLM sales process.
This is ridiculous. If you are a creative person – you are only going to be able to sell your MLM products creatively. If you are good on the phone, but lousy in person, you can probably recruit from cold leads with no problem at all. (Even though some people are good at it – I would never recommend building your business entirely from cold leads.) My point is – be YOU and you’ll be well on your way to prosperity. One of my favorite MLM trainers, Mark Yarnell, says that MLM sales come from entrepreneurial innovation, not duplication.
2. The second thing you need for massive MLM sales is to have a sales funnel in place that will follow up with your prospects for you – automatically. You would not believe how many MLM distributors are trying to make sales by sending their friends and family to their company replicated website – and they don’t even have an email autoresponder set up! Come on people! We need to wake up and be professional if we want to be treated as such from others who are outside our profession. In fact, it takes 10 times the amount of effort to make sales if there is no automated system in place to help.
3. If you want to know the ULTIMATE MLM Sales secret – it is PERSONAL BRANDING. Unfortunately, the online universe if filled with used car sales pitches, broken promises, and frustrated distributors. The refreshing thing is that your audience is looking for an actual person they can relate to who can help them reach the success that they deserve. How can you expect trust as a business person if your marketing message is not personalized at all?
Your companies website is just not a good website to send prospects to. Period. These websites worked well several years ago, but as the information age has changed marketing technologies, it is the personally branded home pages that are taking over the internet.
4. Learn how to effectively market your business online. The only way you are going to have long term success throughout the 21st century in your MLM sales is to study and understand internet marketing.
You may find yourself getting overwhelmed when you look online at the plethora of marketing strategies that you could start using to market your business. However, I want you to understand that over the last 5 years it has become irrefuteable that the fastest way to achieve success in MLM sales is through internet marketing. It is the distributors who grasp this and take advantage of it that are at the top of their companies compensation plans.
